Leonard Mallett

Principal Advisor

Mr. Mallett brings deep operational, engineering, and regulatory expertise to high-growth organizations navigating complex infrastructure challenges. Currently, Mr. Mallett is a corporate director for two public companies, Southbow and Archrock, Inc. He previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of Summit Midstream GP, LLC, where he also held roles as executive director and Interim Chief Executive Officer, guiding the company through periods of organizational transition and strategic realignment.

Before Summit, Mr. Mallett was Senior Vice President of Engineering at Enterprise Products Partners LP and later Senior Vice President of Environmental Health and Safety, overseeing large-scale engineering programs, asset integrity, and enterprise-wide safety initiatives. Earlier in his career, he held a series of increasingly senior roles at TEPPCO Partners LP, culminating in his position as Senior Vice President of Operations.

In addition to his corporate leadership experience, Mr. Mallett has contributed to industry advancement through formal leadership roles with the Pipeline Research Council International, the Office of Pipeline Safety, and the Clean Channel Association. His background combines technical depth, operational discipline, and regulatory insight—capabilities that are particularly valuable to startups building scalable, compliant, and resilient energy or infrastructure solutions.

Mr. Mallett holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from Houston Baptist University.
